Little chair and stool
A chair and a stool from our balcony needed some makeover.
1. Chair
Yes. It really needs something.
Sanding has started.
A lot of small places to sand clean.
Strats to look like clean wood.
Cleaning with a damp cloth to raise the grain before last sanding.
Some wood filler used to fill the biggest holes. And the first coat of paint.
The second coat of paint.
Painting ready. Now one of the flowers will get a nice place to sit.
2. Stool
Old colour looks quite bad.
Top and sides sanded clean.
Three legs done, one to go.
One of the legs was loose, now it is glued again.
First layer of lacquer on.
Second layer of lacquer on.
Back on the balcony. The lacquer takes about a week to cure completely.
