Speaker cabinet for Tweed Deluxe
Because amp head needs a speaker I had to make one. I found some jig tool plans and made one. This helps making proper finger joints.
After making some test runs it started to work ok.
I used teo different sizes of plywood for the parts. The cloth in front of the speaker is lifted away from the speaker with some wooden strips.
Putting all bits and pieces together.
Finger joints are good. Rounded also to make gluing of the cover easier.
The back. Cabinet is open for the sound reasons. Looking a little bit like a tweed amp.
Using artificial leather for the cabinet.
Here it is. Corner protectors attached also. Fender Tweed Deluxe built in an old Tulane radio. Speaker is Jensen P12Q.
